Karl Bremer has contributed a set of photos that were taken were taken of John Campbell's last performance at the New Orleans Jazz Festival. These shots capture the ferocity and passion that John gave to every song and every performance.
Karl wrote:
I could try to tell you how ferocious John Campbell was live, or how he appeared to be possessed by demons howling, yes, for mercy. But a picture does it so much better. This is from the New Orleans Jazz Fest in 1993--I got him booked at the Bayfront Blues Fest later that summer and he died two months after this photo was taken...
